This document provides a national scan of policies, programs, and services dedicated to emerging adults (generally defined as 18- to 25-year-olds) in the criminal justice system. While there are thousands of public agencies and community-based organizations interacting with emerging adults, this inventory focuses on identifying, categorizing and describing those services or supports provided by or in collaboration with criminal justice or related public agencies, as well as programs primarily serving people referred by criminal justice agencies.
